Back in 2018, Deane Hitchens-Orr, Simon Wright, Jim Wilkinson and John Duraid got together to do an "Everesting" bike challenge.
They wanted to commemorate 100 years since the end of the First World War; and raise money for The Royal British Legion and HorsebackUK.
Their epic bike ride inspired hundreds of other people around the country to also do something extraordinary to remember those who did something extraordinary (and brave) for us... And so the WE REMEMBER THEM 2018 campaign was born - raising over £30,000 for the two supported charities!
Now WE REMEMBER THEM is coming back in 2021...
This time as a national relay to remember the NHS key workers who continue to do extraordinary things for all of us.
Teams and individuals will carry a specially made baton in relay legs/stages around the country, as they do some kind of fundraising challenge.
Not only are we raising money, but we're also bringing people together (safely) to support NHS key workers in this very difficult time.
The relay will take place in the summer/autumn of 2021; and runners, swimmers, cyclists, canoeists and climbers have already started to sign up!
Please message us if you're interested in joining the relay from any part of the UK.
We'd love to hear from you!
